Scheduling private lesson

Appointments not finalized until payment received.

GENERIC TIPS

Have a goal in mind for your private lesson, what genre of dance you want to work on (Bal, Lindy, Shag, etc)

Come with a list of questions or specific things you’d like to work on to maximize the benefit

If you’d like instructor to critique a video, send it early or have it downloaded and easily accessible (with timestamps)

Bring video inspiration if you'd like help breaking movement down (with timestamps)

Arrive early to warm up a bit, if possible 😊

KBW recommendations

Come to PLS-hosted Monday practica, and/or Fast Feet Friday to compile the things you want to work on. One hour of private lesson flies by very fast.

*It's not uncommon for students to show up to a private not knowing what to work on and have the instructors do a diagnostic before teaching, and there's absolutely no shame in doing that. We just want you to know your local pals' support is there if you'd like.

(nobody asked but here are some stuff Cora is working on, in case you want a reference for what kind of stuff might be interesting: turning down the line vs in place, maintaining pulse through bal-swing, shoulder engagement.)
